
CONTEXTUAL PREACHING

Purpose of the course:
Preaching is one of the most important but also most challenging ministries in the Church. The purpose of this course is to equip pastors and lay ministers to communicate more effectively when preaching the Gospel in the South African or African context, with an emphasis on the kingdom of God on earth.
Minimum Admission Requirements:
Pastors and lay ministers who have not matriculated, or who have matriculated but do not hold a degree or an advanced diploma in theology; and volunteers involved in ministry.
Structure and duration of the course:
The course lasts one year. There are two weeks of contact tuition during the year. Homework assignments must be completed during the year. Evaluation is done during each week of contact tuition.
