This course will equip community and church leaders involved and/or interested in community transformation with a basic introduction to community development and transformation; an overview of different approaches; and tools to develop a reflective praxis.

This course is introduces urban practitioners (community workers, pastors, lay ministers etc.) to the challenges of urban ministry,

providing them with an introduction to the city, the challenges of ministry in the city, a method for doing theology in the city, and

innovative urban ministry models.

This course is enabling community workers, and community and church Leaders, to start community projects that are sustainable, to understand basic elements of project development and project management, and to develop a basic action plan for their projects.

This course will make carers of young children aware of opportunities and risks in child care, provide guidelines and develop basic skills for they work they do.

This course is designed to introduce participants to basic concepts of and skills for peace – building and conflict resolution in contexts of violence, and brokenness.
